En knapp / A button

Vår tvättmaskin har betett sig illa ;) ett tag. Låtit konstigt när den tömmer. Jag har rensat både avlopp och "renslucka", men inget hjälpte. Istället blev det värre: den tog längre tid att fixa sköljningen och stannade helt när det var dags för centrifugering. Så jag började lobba för en ny. :) 

Maken ville dock göra ett sista försök, se om det var nå't med det elektriska. När han kopplade loss slangen och körde tömde den så fint så. Så han testade om det var nå't i vägen i avloppet och jodå, en knapp... I precis den enda krök jag inte lyckats rengöra... Så det hade kunnat bli en dyr knapp! :) Men nu funkar tvättmaskinen alldeles utmärkt igen. ;)

Our washing machine hasn't been working very well lately. Behaving very strange when emptying the water. Even after I've cleaned all pipes I could think of. So I was starting to plant a thought in DH's head, to by me a new washing machine. ;) 

But he wanted to have another go, to see if he could find some fault in the electric stuff. When he unhooked the hose and tried, the machine emptied in the best way ever. So he tested to see if there was something in the pipe it was hooked to. And yes, a button was there. In the only part of the plumming pipes I hadn't reached to clean... It could have made a very expensive button! :) But now the washing machine runs as smoothly as ever. ;)

Visste ni att man måste byta två gånger för att ta sig till Lviv? Och att man då åker först åt helt fel håll (Köpenhamn) sedan förbi (Kiev)? Men det lilla vi hann se (p.g.a. den korta tiden där) visar att det är en väldigt fin stad - inte alls så grå och betong-ig som jag så fördomsfullt trodde. :) Och det var solsken och närmare 20 grader varmt... Inte helt oävet i början av oktober! Och de har god vodka... ;)

Did you know that it takes two changes of planes to get to Lviv? And first you go the completely wrong way (Copenhagen) and then fly past (Kyiv)? But the little we managed to see of the city (due to the short time period we could stay) shows it's a very beautiful city - not as grey and concrete-y as my prejudicial me thought. :) And it was sunny and some 20C/68F... Not too bad in the beginning of October! And they do have a tasty vodka... ;)

Och nu har jag fått fart på scrappandet! :) Tack vare MSWs WCMD-utmaningar (som håller på till den 20:e). Fast det här är en layout jag gjorde till ABC-utmaningarna i somras - denna gällde att få in kartor på sin LO (och de finns bakom fotot). Jag har använt förra årets september-kit från Molly till denna. :)

And finally my mojo is back! :) Thanks to MSW's WCMD (which continues till the 20th). But this layout was made for the ABC crop - this was about getting in maps on your project (they're behind the photo). And I've used an old kit from Molly's when doing it.

Häromdagen var det Internationella Flickdagen och då skänkte Shimelle hela kursavgiften, på de online-kurser man beställde, till Plan's Flickfond. Så jag slog två flugor i en smäll när jag anmälde mig till hennes kurs "Blogging for Scrapbookers": dels fick jag en intressant (och förhoppningsvis givande - vi får väl se om det blir bättre fart här ;) ) kurs till mig själv, dels bidde det en slant till bättre behövande flickor ute i världen. 

The other day it was the International Day of the Girl and Shimelle donated the entire class fee to Plan's Fund for Girls if one purchased one of her online classes. So I combined two good things when signing for her class "Blogging for Scrapbookers": I got myself an interesting (and hopefully educational - we'll see if I can get this blog going in a better pace ;) ) class for myself and had a coin or three (or a little more...) given to girls in need.
