Konfirmation / Confirmation

Igår konfirmerades A och efteråt fick hon dels kort (gjort efter veckans Kortskiss...), dels ett halssmycke från Hamilton & Young i form av en duva.

Yesterday A had her confirmation and afterwards we gave her a card (inspired by the sketch at Kortskissen) and a necklace with a dove from Hamilton & Young.

På insidan av kortet finns Sinnesrobönen, som de avslutat varje sammankomst med under tiden de har gått och läst.
Duvan ingår i Hamilton & Young's Iona-kollektion. Isle of Iona är ön där S:t Columba (från latinets duva...) introducerade kristendomen i Skottland.

At the inside of the card is the Serenity Prayer, which they have ended each lesson with during their year of learning.
The dove is from Hamilton and Young's Iona collection. Isle of Iona is the island where S:t Columba (from the Latin word for dove...) introduced Christianity in Scotland.
